Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving point

Earlier this month we took Tanner to Thanksgiving Point. He loved running around. It was kind of hard to keep up with him. He just went from one thing to another.
They had all these different wooden trucks, and cars, and boats that the kids could climb on and crawl through. They were selling them too- for lots and lots of money.
Dan and Tanner sitting in the Tractor tire. It was a big tractor.

Tanner and I getting stuck in the spider web. He didn't quite like being in it.
Tanner liked the bouncing area. It was annoying that you could bounce on it with you child. It was only for certain heights and the one that would have been better for Tanner was out of order. He had a hard time climbing up to the top.

He finally got to the top and tried to bounce.
As soon as he started jumping a bigger kid came by and bounced and knocked him flat on his face.
He loved the slides though. He went down them over and over again.
He can climb up this by himself. That how he got to the top of the slide. He loved it. I think I got more worn out by following him around .

Tanner and Dan in the Corn maze. We followed him around the Romney side of the maze and we made it right out. Tanner knew right where to go.

Dan and Tanner riding the cow Train. He wasn't sure of it at first but then didn't want to get out after.

I think he had fun and we'll probably go back next year.

Halloween Sneak Peek

Tanner's Costume:  I was going to have him be a Scarecrow but his overalls didn't fit him. I thought I'll just get him another pair. He freaked out when I put them on him. Then I thought I'll just have him be a farmer. That's boring. I tired to find a hat and I just didn't like anything. Then I found this Sheriff hat and remembered that he likes his church clothes. So I pained the hat black and the star silver and got him a batch and a gun. I spent about $5.00 on this costume. I love it. And Tanner is actually wearing it.

Stick em up!  You can't take a picture of me.

 Gotcha from behind!

 Do you like my gun?

Yep, I am the best Sheriff in these parts.

Grapes

In September of 2010 my dad bought me some grape plants to plant in the yard. (I look horrible in this picture, but I am pregnant.) We planted 2 Concord grapes and one Black Manuka. So far only one Concord has produced grapes.

In 2011 Tanner helped me pick my first batch. It was very exciting that we even got grapes on it.

Here they are in the bowl.
2012 ~ This year we had a lot more. This is just from one plant.

I was able to make 1 Quart of Juice. We decided just to drink it. It was great.

Tanner loved the grape juice.

Thanks Dad for helping me plant them.
