1985 ~ Timpanogos Cave

This was the first time I'd ever been to Timpanogos Cave. I remember it being a long walk and we stopped at lot of the benches on the way up.

We all got ribbons for hiking up the cave and my mom bought Missy a T-shirt since she had to stay home. 

Timpanogos Cave

Dan had today off today so we went hiking up to Timpanogos Cave. I'd forgotten how steep the hike is. And we ended up carrying Tanner most of the way. It's a mile and a half to the cave entrance and that's along ways for a 2 year old. 

 This is us at the beginning of the hike. 

 Tanner wanted his Dad almost the whole time.

 Tanner wanted to lay down too. It kind of looks like he's floating. 

While we were walking through the cave Tanner said to his dad "go home and sit on couch and watch something."  He was really tired of walking.

We got Tanner a 'I hiked to the cave' Ribbon. He thought it was pretty great.

We had fun, we're sore, but we had a great time as a family. 

Our Anniversary

Dan and I have been married for 4 years as of yesterday.  Some days it seems like longer since we've actually known each other for 7 years. I am glad that we get to be together. 

For dinner we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory. When Dan and I went on our first date he took me to the one in Salt Lake, and thought it would be fun to eat there again. Except that we went to the one at the Mall in Orem.  

 The 4th Anniversary is Flowers. Dan didn't want any flowers so I made him an edible bouquet and took it to his office to share with his co-workers. Everyone loved it. It was fun to make too. I like chocolate covered strawberries.

Tanner and Rach

We were outside helping Dan mow the lawn and I noticed all the pink flowers all over the grass. So I had to take some pictures of us in the tree. Tanner and I were standing on a ladder so we could get up to the blossoms. It wasn't easy holding him there and trying to get the camera to focus on the right spot without looking through the lens. I finally had Dan come over and take a picture of us together. The blossoms were really pretty and neither Tanner nor I were dressed the best. I am glad you can't see all the food on his shirt, and that he's wearing his church shirt with his running pants.
