I love Holidays where you can color the food different colors- especially Green. When I was younger my mom made rolls green or made other food green for the Holiday. It was fun. So I wanted to do that for my kids. The Leprechaun came really early at our house and put a trail of gold coins from Tanner's room to the living room upstairs with a pot of Gold candy in it. Tanner woke up really early and found the gold then came up to our bed and told us the Leprechaun had come and made a road with the coins then he piled them on the stairs and went back to sleep. He didn't even care about the chocolate but has had such a fun time playing with the gold coins.
Tanner and Violet love Crepes. So we had green crepes for breakfast.
Tanner with his coins and green food. Today in preschool he needed to wear green so he wore the hat and shirt.
It seemed a lot easier to just let Violet walk around eating her crepe. She doesn't like sitting in her highchair for very long. I had the green headband from a party several years ago. I'm just glad she'd wear it.
It's very hard to get 2 kids to smile at a camera at the same time. Violet wanted to eat the coins.
When Tanner was this age I took some Leprechaun pictures of him and I wanted to do the same with Violet.
Little Leprechauns aren't always happy to be caught.
Happy St. Patricks Day!
