Four Generations

Saturday we went to Moroni to introduce Tanner to his Great grandpa and grandma Blackburn. They sure were excited to finally meet him. It turned out to be a great day. We were able to have lunch with Krisde and her family, and also see Dan's Aunt Dixie and her family. Everyone loved holding Tanner. In fact he slept the whole day because he was held. I had to wake him up to feed him too. He was just so content on being passed around to everyone.
See how happy he is just being held ;)

(I told everyone to smile so Tanner did)
Dan said that we needed to get to Moroni as soon as we could to get a four generation picture like the one that Dan had when he was a baby with his Grandpa Forris.
Grandpa sure loved holding him and rubbing his hands

Tanner- 1 Month old

On the 25th Tanner turned a month old. I can't believe we've already had him a whole month. Time goes by so fast. Tanner is doing great. We haven't figured out a schedule exactly, but mostly he just likes to be held, fed, held, sang too, held, talked too, and being held. ;) It's a good thing that we like to hold him.
We've had a lot of fun having him in our family.
Dan and I love also love watching him make his different facial expressions.

Our Christmas Baby

Tanner James Blackburn
On December 25, 2010 our little boy was born. Our little Christmas baby. He weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and 20" long and was 2 weeks early. My water broke at 1:30 am and I started having contractions about 2:30 am and finally delivered him at 8:45 pm. Dan said that he might have been born earlier had it not been for the every 6 hour shift change of the nurses. They kept adjusting my monitors depending on how fast or slow I went.
But he's here now and he's great.

Dan just can't seem to get enough of him. My two BYU fans. ;) Although he doesn't know any different right now, but Dan is hoping he'll be a fan.

We got to bring him home in a giant Christmas sock.
He stayed in the Level 2 nursery after he was born because he had low glucose levels and then he had a bit of Jaundice. He loved laying under the lights.
Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Little Tanner!

In November I had my Aunt Angie take some pictures of me and Dan. I think they turned out great. Thanks Angie.

Snow!

I just love it when it snows. Especially the first snow fall- really good snow fall of the season. Even though I am 34 weeks along I just had to get out in the snow. I was able to get one button done up on my snow suit.
Here I am doing a snow angel. I had to have Dan help me back up. ;)

Our little guys room

We finally finished putting together the babies room. I think that it turned out great. We painted it light blue and put up the bead board. The other side of the room has a twin bed and a dresser.
The crib was given to us by Dan's cousin Hal. He was sending it off and thought we could use it. I think it's great.
This is the changing table that my Uncle Kevin made for his little girl Adrian. My Grandma brought it over for us to use. I love it.

I bought this crib set from Walmart. I thought it was so cute. I was going to make one but this was a lot easier. We got the moneky as a baby shower gift. Dan even had one just like it when he was little.
So far our little guy has quite a few stuffed animals. Logan gave him the Elephant and the Frog and his cousin Nash and Brooke made the little "Ugly" dolls. I think they are so cute.

Here is our little guys book case. It was made by Dan's Grandpa- a long time ago.

The Lamb is from his Grandma Bonnie. It's one that makes soothing sounds.

The Picture of Christ with the children hung in Dan's room when he was little.
