One of my favorite things to do at Christmas time is sit by the tree and look at the lights. It's like time stands still for just that moment and you can enjoy peace and the Christmas spirit.

Tanner was moving something and he held up his arms to show his muscles and said "I am stronger than I look."
Tanner found this little box of Altoid Chewing gum and told me " You only lick them, don't swallow it, then when you are done put it back. "

At 6 am this morning Tanner started talking about his Uncle James' rock crawler and then said "It's hard to drive with the wheel broken. James fix it."

While driving on the road today Tanner saw a yellow car and said, "Look mom, Bumblebee."
Tanner asked me if he could watch something. Then he said "Yes, we can." (From Bob the Builder)

May 1, 2013:
I told Tanner not to play with the printer/fax machine. He really likes playing with the phone that is attached to it. He came over to me and told me to plug my ears. He thought that if I had my ears plugged I wouldn't be able to hear him play with the machine.

I was sitting on the floor in the living room and Tanner got a stool and set it next to me and looked me in the eye and said,"How are you doing Mommy?" Then he said, "You can lay on my arm." And put my head on it. He's so caring.
Also he said "Don't you change the TV channel."

Tonight while trying to get Tanner to bed he was looking at something on the wall and said "Big like Dad's belly". We weren't sure what he was pointing at.

While trying to get Tanner to take a nap he was looking at the ceiling in the bedroom and said "Mommy a hippo! Aligator! Giraffe. " I asked him what they were doing and he said "Fighting."

Dan just asked me if I wanted to watch a movie. Tanner said "Yes, Mickey Mouse."

Tanner really likes Mickey Mouse Club house and while we were visiting my cousin Hillary the other day he started singing "Hot Dog Hot diggity Dog" during lunch.
And yesterday when we went shopping he got out of the car and said "Oh Toodles."
And then at Kohls he started singing "Jesus Sunbeam" over and over. He doesn't quite know all the words but he makes some sounds inbetween Jesus and Sunbeam because he knows they are there.
He loves singing.

Tanner and I were standing in line to fix our Comcast issue and there was a lady in front of us who had on some sort of furry coat thing. Tanner touched the collar and said "Dog, Woof Woof."

Tanner just loves his dad and today was no different. Tanner was just so fussy today and I asked him what he needed and he said, " My Dad." It's so cute and it's one of his first sentences.

Dan and I met in our ward. I just started hanging out with each other and than we were friends. ;) Of course it has taken 3 years, but worth the wait. Things happen when it's time.
Dan works as a Tech Writer at Ceridian in South Jordan and Rach stays home and takes care of Tanner, her garden and takes care of things around the house.

Tanner loves trucks and his Grandpa. He gets into anything he can reach and loves smiling and laughing. He is a joy to have in our family. He is currently in Preschool and having fun learning his Alphabet.
Violet loves being held and fed and sleeps a lot. She has the cutest little sleepy smiles. We are also glad that she is in our family.
