This week we sort of learned about mosquito's. We read a couple of books from the library and learned that Female Mosquito's suck blood but only when they need it right before they lay eggs, Male one just suck juice from plants. They only live a few weeks and females live the longest - about a month. They lay lots of eggs in the water and they grow and change in the water then eventually turn in the the mosquito's we love to swat.
During one of our nights at Camp my Aunt Jeri gets the kids together to do a Glow stick parade. They all had fun. This is Tanner's version of a Mosquito. He did a great job.
So this is Mosquito week- what better to learn about them then Camping at Trial Lake- I even found one in the bathroom and smashed it.
