Summer Fun: Hogle Zoo

Tuesday we were able to go to the Zoo with our friends. It was a lot of fun. They even did the Zoorasic Park 2 version with animated Dinosaurs all over the park.
We rode the Train first. The kids loved it.

I love the Giraffes. They are just so interested. What does a Giraffe actually say?
We also went to the Bird show. Tanner thought it was great when the birds flew right over the top of our heads. I duct a couple of times because they flew really low.
Carousel  rides. Going up and down so much fun!

 Posing next to the Brontosaurus.
 The dinosaurs were pretty neat.
Violet wasn't sure she liked them though.
Dan really likes seeing the Polar bears and the Seals. It looks so relaxing to just swim in the water.

 Playing on the polar bears
 Snack time!
That's a big T-Rex. Tanner thought it was great.
I also love the Elephants and my arm looks huge in this picture.
 Rhinos
Violet wasn't sure she liked this big bird. It is kind of Creepy
How big are you?  As big as a Gorilla?  Tanner, Violet and Dan
 Dilophosaurus sqirted water at Tanner.
 He loved it.
Dan and Violet climbing the Gorilla
At the end of the day Violet and Tanner loved the splash pad. It's a newer area at the Zoo. My kids love playing in the water. Yep, they were soaked at the end of the day. But they couldn't stop smiling. Violet loved the part where the water squirted up.

Tanner loved the part that build up then shot right out of the ground. He had fun playing with the other kids.
Miriam our great friend and neighbor and Racheal
Our cute Tanner on the Elephant Trunk.

We had such a great day at the Zoo. Violet didn't take a nap at all while we were there. She was just excited about seeing everything and Tanner loves running around. One of the other places that Tanner likes is the Reptile House. Dan spent a lot of time showing the kids all the snakes, turtles, spiders and all the little crawling creatures. It was such a great day.
